Tyson Chandler Criticizes New York Knicks' Defensive Strategy Vs. Brooklyn Nets

What We Learned from Knicks Tyson Chandler said he doesn't agree with the Knicks defensive game plan and that they don't have the personnel to switch on pick-and-rolls. Al Iannazzone (@Al_Iannazzone) workout January 20, 2014 I think we can all understand where Chandler is go to website coming from. After all, how many times have we seen New York get burned when Andrea Bargnani switches on pick-and-rolls? It must be tough for a defensive-minded player like Chandler to be a workout part of such a miserable defensive effort, as the Knicks allowed the Nets to bury 14 triples. It's nothing new for New York, either. This is a ballclub that ranks 25th in defensive efficiency and 24th in the amount of points given up from beyond the arc. Let's be clear here: This isn't all Woodson's fault, and Chandler pointed that out. The Knicks just do not have the players to consistently get stops. Guys like Carmelo Anthony and Raymond Felton are not exactly lockdown defenders.
